Big Woods Pizza Co. was started by the brewery’s owners Jeff McCabe, Ed Ryan and Tim O’Bryan, aka, the Three Amigos.
The Big Woods Brewery (located across the street) is a fine place for fun, fellowship, food and quaffing, but it’s relatively small and is a 21 and over establishment. Rather than expand BWB and potentially change the look and feel of our home base (the brewery), we decided to build a companion restaurant and brewery that has more seating, is family friendly and is focused on our favorite food group…PIZZA! Big Woods pizza offers Artisan pizza, fresh salads, and our famous hand crafted micro-brews from Big Woods Brewery. Big Woods Pizza is great for family dining or carry out!
Our philosophy for pizza is very much like our approach to making beer. Our first priority is to please ourselves. We know if WE love our product, than our customers will love it too. We aren’t out to compete with other Pizza places; we are creating our idea of what an “Artisan” pizza can be, with the
best possible crusts and a creative environment where our pizza chefs can create culinary works of art! We want to surprise and delight our
customers with a great food, great beer, and excellent service.

Big Woods Beer? Our second brewery is co-located with BWP. Beer is a natural fit with pizza and a great way to showcase the drinkability of our Flagship beer, Busted Knuckle Ale. We are developing pizza recipes that utilize the yeast we produce to make beer and have even used our brewery’s spent grain in pizza crusts….the
synergy is REAL.
